I completed the review of Vikk's VIDEO MAGIC, and it's now posted on Amazon.
My foot surgery's scheduled for early January, which is probably a better time than doing this in the middle of the holiday season, except it would give me time perhaps for uninterrupted writing. Today was typical--I had arranged my schedule so I had no patients today, so I could get the partial completed that has a deadline of December 1. Unfortunately, I had trouble getting to sleep last night, watched the end of The Late Show and discovered the Late, Late Show. I watched the entire, lengthy monologue before I turned out the light. I then managed to actually sleep for the first time in about 3 weeks, woke up later than usual, and didn't get done with my various little projects until 10:30AM.
No worries--I would spend the rest of the morning writing. I got in about 20 mins and then an 8 page fax arrived in my email account. Work. I printed, called & scheduled, with one of the patients set for this afternoon. I therefore reversed my mindset, shut down the computer and got myself in gear as I had a stop in the bank to make, too. The bank trip turned out to be lengthier than planned, but I got some free writing done with a cup of coffee at the local Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, so the afternoon wasn't a completed write-off (pun intended.)
Now I'm back to blogging, reading and answering emails and hopefully, writing before "Supernatural" comes on TV. I can justify watching that by completing the paperwork on my new patients during the intermissions.
Speaking of writing, I'd better meet that quota I have set myself for today, or there will be no goofing off watching TV this evening. However, since I feel the onset of the shoulder pain, I may be taking that break regardless of how much my brain tells me I need to be writing instead.
